Welcome visitors!!!

Pack 22

Pack 22 in Mt. Lebanon, Pennsylvania, is sponsored by Southminster Presbyterian Church. Southminster is adjacent to Washington Elementary School and Mellon Middle School in the heart of Uptown. The Cub Scout program is uniquely designed to meet the needs of young boys and their parents. Cub Scouting meets these needs through offering fun and challenging experiences that boys and parents do together.

Who can join Cub Scouts? Cub Scouting is for boys in the first through fifth grades. Boys who are older than 10, or who have completed the fifth grade, can no longer join Cub Scouting, but they may be eligible to join the Boy Scouting or Venturing program.

If you are considering joining Cub Scouts, please contact us through this site and we will be happy to answer your questions and/or schedule a visit to one of our weekly meetings. Young boys grow up fast. Give your son a valuable gift by encouraging him to join Cub Scouting today.

Don't Forget Scouting or Food

Posted on Apr 30 2016 - 11:00am

The Boy Scout's annual Scouting for Food Drive is this weekend. Please see attached flyer. Door hangers were handed out at the last two meetings. Let's do our best to make this a success collection! The boys should attach door hangers to neighbor's doors this week and collect food on Saturday the 30th, or another day- whatever day they choose (just write it on the hanger). In the past, neighbors require a knock at the door, asking for food. Please bring the collected food to this Tuesday's meeting at Bird Park.  Mrs. Deniziuk will take the food up to Southminster's food pantry. Feel free to drop the food off on her front porch prior to this if you can not make it to the meeting. This is a wonderful thing that the boy scouts do, so let's make this drive as successful as possible. The food goes to local families in need.
